Today, I would like to address things that always hold you back, especially when you plan to make a career change. Let's find out what these are.
1. Multi-Faced Career Approach
If you are a talented person who feels good at multiple things, you usually have too many options to choose from. You may be good at teaching and have a fitness plan in hand. Now your career choices are not limited to personal training but also teaching. The problem with too many options is that you become overwhelmed with them.

It's hard to choose from multiple career options. You don't know what will work for you. As nothing is clear, you decide not to pursue. A simple solution to this issue is that you should evaluate one option at a time. Like if you are good at teaching, imagine spending one-day teaching and see how it feels. If it works, then go for it, else switch to another career choice that gives you satisfaction and happiness in the long run.
2. Limited Choice
Sometimes, you are in a field where you find limited choices, then it is another scenario where you don't know what to do. Instead of feeling bad about it, you should be a bit creative. Follow your passion, and go to a career where you feel comfortable. There are multiple hybrid career choices. Going out of your career route is tricky, but you need to opt for it. Try to create some new career choices; you don't need to stick with a straightforward option.

3. Full-Time or Part-Time
Another thing that holds you back in your career change decision is to decide whether to pursue it full time or part-time. If you are worried about financial issues, you shouldn't opt for full-time. Stick to my current job and make a change part time. It would help if you worked at the beginning, and your financial stability won't be a challenge anymore. Once you become familiar with new work and career choice, you can leave the existing one and pursue a part time job for full time.
4. Financial Uncertaining
Many people like to make a career shift, but they don't want to go for it because it seems pretty expensive. They have families and financial needs. Due to financial uncertainties, they don't want to make a career move. If that's the problem, you should start saving it up from the beginning. Once you have savings, it becomes easy for you to deal with financial trouble when you would be searching for jobs in the FRATRES.NET. In case you don't have any savings, you could try a side hustle. Freelancing and a part-time job would be better choices. You can earn and save. You won't face the pressure during a career change.
5.No family Support
If you want to give up on your career and plan to change, you often don't go for it because your family doesn't support you. This lack of support is the major hindrance to a career change. When you try to be creative or follow a unique career, your family doesn't like you to opt for it. They check monetary values of a job, and when they don't find any, they try to talk you out of it. If you are confident, don't think what they have to say, set your career goal and go for it. They might not understand it at first, but they will later.

6.Fear
Career change is a big life move and you can't pursue it quickly. You always have some sort of fear. So many what-ifs will be hammering on your mind and making you look otherwise. If that's the case, you need to rethink. Try to stay as positive as you are. As I mentioned before, you should start small like a part-time job and internee experience. If it works out, you can go for it without feeling fearful.
7. Lack of Confidence
Many times you find it hard to make a career change because you are not confident about it. You are confused and don't have any idea whether it will work for you or not. When confidence is missing, then career change becomes pretty hard for you. Lack of confidence is the major reason many people don't like to make a career move. In that scenario, you better gain confidence by starting part time and then making a shift full-time. Even volunteer or internee experience will help you gain confidence.
